Depending on your lifestyle, we can offer recommendations to make your transition as smooth as possible. Do you have school-age children? Prefer to live in a community with many expats? Looking to live "off the grid" as much as possible? Healthcare a primary concern? Planning to spend the whole year here or looking for just a vacation home? Are you retired or want to work online remotely? Thinking of starting a business here? During your stay, activities such as golfing and horse-back riding can be arranged.

PRICING

We offer you a choice of hotels located in Tamarindo, either right on or near the beach.  Our basic package is 5 days/4 nights; however, you can extend your stay, either in Tamarindo or in other towns where we have partnered with some of the best properties in the Guanacaste area. If you will already be in Costa Rica or have already made hotel reservations, you can take advantage of just the tour days. After our initial phone consultation, we'll send you a proposal detailing hotel and tour options and itinerary, with pricing including all taxes and service fees.

FAQs

  • When is the best time to visit?   In order to maximize the most out of your stay, we recommend visiting during the following months: January through mid-May, beginning of August, mid-November to end of  December. These are the times of the year with little or no rain in our area.  However, prices at hotels are generally  lower during the "green" season - mid-May to mid-November, and we can work with you to find best times to visit during May/June/July. We do not offer tours during Semana Santa (Easter) or in September through November due to rain and road conditions.
  • Can I use US Dollars?  Yes, dollars are widely accepted here. No need to change any money at the airport; you can always change dollars into Costa Rican colones at any local bank. ATMs are available in Tamarindo, but not so prevalent in other towns.
  •  Concerns about COVID? We follow all protocols in accordance with the Costa Rica Ministry of Health guidelines, including wearing masks, sanitizing and observing social distancing.  You will not be sharing the van with anyone outside your travel bubble.
